    Very Weak Coffee

We purchased this coffee as it appeared to be similar to other coffee brands we enjoy in strength of flavor. I ground it to same settings I use for others. This coffee was very light in color and also had a sawdust like material mixed in. Brewing a percolator serving ended up with very weak coffee. I increased the amount but still ended up too weak to drink. I won’t be purchasing any more.

Thank you for giving our coffee a try and for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry the flavor was lighter than you expected. We recommend brewing at approximately a 20:1 water-to-coffee ratio, although grind size and brewing method can affect the final strength, especially with a percolator.

The light, sawdust-like material you noticed is coffee chaff, also called silverskin. It is a natural, harmless part of the coffee bean that can remain after roasting and become more noticeable once the beans are ground. It does not indicate that anything foreign was added to the coffee.

We appreciate your honest feedback and are sorry this roast wasn’t the right fit for your preferences.

    Like a dessert

20 years climbing and logging trees coffee was part of my every day life… today as a professional pilot my lifestyle has changed and I’ve grown away from coffee.

After purchasing a bag to support the channel I have become addicted and now subscribed each month.

I love coffee ice cream and this coffee has the same great coffee flavor and creamy without the cream. I love it just black and stevia!

    It won’t disappoint

    Keeps me motivated

This coffee is great tasting, and my wife has been drinking it too (she is not a coffee drinker but she loves it)

I'm in the military and I have been drinking coffee for better than 40 years. This is an impressive cup of coffee and I am almost out of grounds when I get an alert "your order from Ambition Strikes has been shipped", and that makes me happy. I highly recommend buying the monthly order. Thanks for the motivation !!

    Small but mighty

It made me recall the Dolly Parton 9 to 5 song.

“ Tumble out of bed and I stumble to the kitchen

Pour myself a cup of AMBITION and yawn and stretch and try to come to life

Jump in the shower and the blood starts pumpin'

Out on the street, the traffic starts jumpin'

With folks like me on the job from nine to five”

    Best coffee ever

We’ve been fans of Ambition Strikes for a while, so when we saw they were selling coffee, we had to try it. I’m very particular about my go-go juice — and this one blew me away. Smooth, flavorful, and no weird aftertaste. Even Thomas, who’s not a coffee drinker, said it’s the first one he’s enjoyed without that lingering bitterness. The “Build It” roast is exactly what it promises: crafted for doers. It’s become our morning ritual while working on our retirement homestead.
